Ka Kin Kwok is a consultant based in the Hong Kong office, specialising in environmental acoustics and architectural acoustics. He has been working in the field of acoustics since 2008, starting as an assistant environmental engineer in environmental noise at the Westwood Hong & Associates Ltd and following that with URS Hong Kong and AECOM in Manchester, UK. He completed a MSc in Acoustics at University of Salford before joining Marshall Day Acoustics in 2015.
Ka Kin has extensive experience in environmental noise assessment for planning applications and building acoustic design. He is experienced in environmental noise assessment for infrastructure and has conducted measurements for projects of varying scale, including Kwai Tsing interchange upramp to Kwai Chung Road in Hong Kong and Light Rapid Transit (LRT) Phase 1 in Macau. He is currently working on the room acoustic design for the Lyric Theatre and the Freespace, in West Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong.
