Shenzhi is a consultant based in our Hong Kong office. Prior to her career in acoustics, Shenzhi was trained and worked as an architect in China and has an excellent understanding of the multiple disciplines involved in building projects, which is a great asset for project coordination.
Shenzhi has excellent academic qualifications that include a Doctorate from Edinburgh Napier University. She has carried out extensive research into sound insulation, which has resulted in several journal and conference papers, and a new sound insulation product, which has been filed UK and USA patent applications by a leading building product manufacturer.
Before moving to our Hong Kong office, Shenzhi worked with us at our Shanghai and Beijing offices, responsible for sound insulation design and building services noise control of several major performing arts building projects in China, such as the Jiangsu Grand Theatre, the Tianjin O-show Concert Hall and Wanda Qingdao International Film Festival Theatre. During this period, she has also played an instrumental role in the room acoustic design and project coordination for some other performing arts projects. She is now relocated to Hong Kong, working for our Hong Kong projects such as West Kowloon Cultural District Lyric Theatre. Meanwhile she continues to play an important role for our projects in the Mainland of China.
