Brendon Shanks is a consultant based in Dunedin, with experience in both environmental noise and building acoustics. Brendon’s interest in acoustics stems from a passion for choral music and a background in physics.
Brendon started with Marshall Day in 2007, leaving in 2011 to live in London for a five year period. During his time in the UK he worked as a Consultant at Jacobs SKM, as a Senior Acoustic Engineer at Sandy Brown Associates, and as a professional choral singer.
Brendon has managed the acoustic design of building projects, such as apartments, hotels and office fit outs, providing collaborative input to the design team.
