Joshua Dunkel

Joshua is a Consultant in the Auckland office with experience in building and room acoustics and environmental noise assessments. Before moving to New Zealand in 2022 he worked for six years as an Acoustic Consultant in Germany.

Joshua has experience in a wide range of projects, such as residential, healthcare and commercial developments, large industrial plants and auditorial spaces. While working in Germany he specialized in airborne and impact sound insulation testing and is an approved building acoustics test engineer by the German association of material and testing institutes ‘VMPA’.

He is also experienced with room acoustical simulation software and did research on scattering coefficients in simulation models while completing his bachelor studies.
