Justin Adcock

Justin Adcock is an Associate and the manager of Marshall Day Acoustics' environmental noise division. Justin graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree in 1998 and has worked as an acoustic consultant with major firms in Australia and the UK since.

The focus of Justin’s work has been in the field of environmental noise measurement, modelling and impact assessment. His experience in the field spans from local planning applications and nuisance investigations through to environmental impact assessments for major transport, Defence and power infrastructure projects. This includes EIA studies for the Joint Strike Fighter project, major road projects, international airports, over 30 commercial-scale wind farms in Australia and Europe, industrial plant and city-wide modelling to European Union directives. Justin also regularly provides expert witness services and has participated in several government-funded research projects into noise measurement and prediction techniques. In addition to Justin’s focus on environmental noise, he also has considerable experience in architectural acoustics, including planning, design and commissioning work for high-rise residential development, schools and commercial building projects.
